South University Village

WDET reporter Noah Ovshinsky and WJR reporter Ken Rogulski provided on-site coverage of the groundbreaking ceremonies for South University Village. The planned development project, to be located at the old site of the Vernors Ginger Ale plant, will feature a $36 million residential and retail project - Wayne State University's first private/public partnership. WWJ aired periodic mentions about the scheduled groundbreaking event throughout the day.
